Radiesse Treatment in Yorkville, Toronto
Radiesse is a collagen-stimulating filler made of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a smooth gel. It gives you visible lift and structure right away, then keeps working as your body builds new collagen around the microspheres. If you want facial balancing, more definition in your cheeks and jawline, softer smile lines, or younger-looking hands, Radiesse is one of the treatments I offer for exactly that.
Radiesse for the face
Radiesse restores structure where time and volume loss have softened your features. I most often use it for the cheeks, the jawline and chin, the temples, nasolabial folds (smile lines) and marionette lines. It has a firmer, more supportive feel than most hyaluronic acid fillers, so it suits areas that need lift and definition, not just a little extra volume.
Facial balancing with Radiesse
Facial balancing looks at the whole face instead of one line or one hollow. I use Radiesse often for this because its firm structure supports the areas that shape your profile and proportions: the jawline, chin, cheeks and temples. The goal is harmony, so your face looks more balanced and refreshed without looking overdone.
Jawline contouring for women
For women, Radiesse can define and refine the jawline, creating a smooth, sculpted contour that lifts the lower face and softens the look of early jowls. I keep placement precise so the result stays elegant and feminine.
Jawline enhancement for men
For men, Radiesse can strengthen and square the jawline for a more masculine appearance. I build definition along the angle and the chin so the result looks strong and natural, never exaggerated.
Radiesse for the hands and décolleté
Hands often show age first, as the padding under the skin thins and tendons and veins become more visible. Radiesse can restore that padding for a smoother, fuller look (see also our hand revitalization options). Radiesse is also Health Canada approved for moderate wrinkles of the décolleté (the chest), where thin, sun-exposed skin creases over time.

Radiesse vs. Sculptra: How Genie Decides
Not sure if Sculptra or Radiesse is the right fit? Genie breaks it down simply: Radiesse is usually the pick when a patient wants more immediate structure and volume, especially in areas like the jawline, cheeks, temples, or hands. Sculptra is the better fit for a slower, more natural build, ideal if you’ve lost facial volume from aging or weight loss and want your skin quality to improve along the way. Neither one is “better”; they just do different jobs, and the right choice comes down to your anatomy and goals. Watch Genie explain it below, or book a consultation to find out which one fits you.

Knee Rejuvenation with Radiesse

Crepey, loose skin on the knees is one of the most common concerns we hear, and it is hard to hide in shorts, skirts, or swimwear. Radiesse is a collagen-stimulating filler that can restore firmness and improve the texture of the skin over the knee, giving a smoother, more youthful look.
Knee rejuvenation is an off-label use of Radiesse, so we assess your skin at a consultation to confirm it is the right fit. Results vary, and we tailor the plan to your skin and goals.

Radiesse is an injectable biostimulator made of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres in a gel carrier. CaHA is a mineral compound that is also found naturally in bone. The gel gives you immediate lift and contour. Over the following weeks, your body gradually absorbs the gel and builds new collagen around the microspheres, which helps the treated area stay firmer and smoother. This is why Radiesse is called a biostimulator, and why it is different from a filler that only adds volume.
I most often use Radiesse for the cheeks, the jawline and chin, the temples, smile lines and marionette lines, and the backs of the hands. It is also Health Canada approved for moderate wrinkles of the décolleté.
Radiesse is not the right product for every area. It is not recommended for the lips or the under-eye area, where other products are a safer, better choice. At your free consultation we map out where Radiesse makes sense for you, and where it can be combined with hyaluronic acid fillers, Botox or Sculptra for a more complete result.

Radiesse starts at $750. The final cost depends on how many syringes your plan needs, which depends on the areas we treat and the result you want. At your free consultation we review your goals, your anatomy and your options, so you have a clear plan and total before anything is booked. There is no pressure to book on the day.
Your visit starts with a consultation, where we discuss your goals and review your medical history. Once we agree on a plan, I clean and mark the treatment areas and offer numbing cream or ice if you would like it. I then place Radiesse using a fine needle or a cannula, depending on the area, and gently shape the product as needed. Most appointments take under an hour, depending on the number of areas treated. You check the result with me before you leave.
Most people return to their normal activities right away. Mild swelling, redness, tenderness or bruising at the injection sites is common and usually settles within a few days. I give you full aftercare instructions, which typically include avoiding strenuous exercise, heat such as saunas, and heavy pressure on the treated area for a short time.
You see lift and contour immediately, and the area can continue to improve over the following weeks as collagen builds. Many patients enjoy their results for a year or longer. How long yours lasts depends on the area treated, the amount used and your own body.
No. Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, Radiesse cannot be dissolved with hyaluronidase. That is why placement, technique and conservative amounts matter so much, and why I take the time to plan carefully. I would rather build your result gradually than over-correct. This is one of the things we talk through at your consultation.
Radiesse is not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, are under 18, have an active infection or inflammation in the treatment area, have a bleeding disorder, or have severe allergies. Please tell me about your full medical history and all medications and supplements, especially blood thinners.
As with any injectable, there are risks, including bruising, swelling, lumps and, rarely, more serious complications. Results vary from person to person, and no outcome can be guaranteed. We review the risks and benefits in detail before you decide.
